August TBR & June Wrap-up

July has been a lazy month. I didn’t read as much as I wanted, but I finally set up Instagram, and in August, I will post the first picture. I know I said I would start the Instagram account in July, but I had a hard time finding the way I wanted to take photos. Last week I took a few pictures, and I love how they turned out. You will see them all soon.

I also ordered a shit ton of books, and they are going to be here in August. Some of them were Crescent City, Chain of Gold and To Kill a Kingdom. I do want to see what all the fuss is about regarding Crescent City, and if it comes early enough, I will definitely read it in August too.

Now the fun stuff, the books I managed to finish:

I also started Outlander #1, but I wasn’t able to finish. I reached 500 pages, and I will finish it in August. As much as I want to put it in my Wrap-up, the book isn’t easy to read, and I can’t finish it in the few hours I have left. Still, I do enjoy everything about it.

So that’s about it with the Wrap-up, now let’s talk about the TBR for August:

The Inkworld series. I have to read all of these books for school, and I hope I can get through the last two in August. I managed to read the first one in July, and I wasn’t the biggest fan of it. After reading the synopsis for the second one, it seems like things are starting to get interesting. Perhaps, I will like the next two more. I saw Circe everywhere, and as I got more into Greek Mythology, found this book quite interesting.

On the Come Up and Clap When You Land are on my bookclub’s TBR for August. I loved The Hate U Give, and I couldn’t have higher expectations for On the Come Up. We will see how it goes. Gods of Jade and Shadow was recommended to me last month, and I really wanted to read it. I never found the chance to pick it up. Maybe now that it is on my TBR list, I will.

As a side note, we almost hit 500 views on this blog, and I wanted to thank you all so much! All the time that you put in reading, liking and sharing our posts means a lot.

Hi! I usually write book-related content, such as TBR, reviews, book tours and book tags, but recently I dove deeper into politics, religion, sex and even history. I write posts where I educate people about important subjects, and I hope to see you on my blog soon!
