June: Wrap-up

Ooooh, y’all have no idea how much I’ve been waiting to write this blog post. I HAVE SO MANY NEW IDEAS, and I can’t wait to tell you all about them.

First off, let’s talk about the changes you’ve seen on this blog because there have been many in the past month. You know how much I enjoy making printables, and I saw that many of you like them too, so I made a category on my menu where you can find all the printables I will make from now on. I do love to draw, and all of them will be made by hand and then scanned (with a colour scanner, of course). I am planning on making sticker designs that you can later print, bookmarks (every bookworm needs as many bookmarks as they can have), and spreadsheets. You have also seen that I changed the way I write my reviews, and I think you won’t find any changings regarding the way they look for a long time.

My colleague, Alexandra, is coming back and she will post regularly on Monday. We want to start a new series in here, and its name will be Amazon Findings: genre/ type of character/ etc. We want to make book recommendations, and they will be either books we have read, books we want to read or bargains. We know that there are many sites already doing this type of post, but they are usually made with algorithms and not by a human. We will make them fit our taste, and also yours. We will make this post once a week, perhaps once every two weeks. If you like them, we will try to make them more often, but for now, we will stick to this schedule.

Oh, and I also made signatures for both of us, so it will be easier for you to see who wrote the post.

Now, let’s talk about our social media accounts a bit. For now, we only have a Twitter account that I managed in the past month. I never really liked Twitter, so for now on Alexandra will take care of it. I will still have access to it, but I won’t be as active, as I was in June. I will start a bookstagram with the beginning of July, and if you have any tips for a beginner, share them in the comments!

I think that was all I had to say about the future of the blog, so now let’s get to the fun part, THE BOOKS I HAVE READ!

I managed to read 11 books with a total of over 3500 pages, which is the best I did since 2020 started. I am so proud of myself! I didn’t finish any readathons because I read books in function of what I was in the mood for, not in function of the readathon itself, for that matter, I won’t participate in any readathons in the upcoming month. All the books I read have a review written already, so if there is any review you would like to see faster, say so!

Here are all the books I read this month!

If you’ve seen my last TBR post, you’ll know that Shadow of the Fox wasn’t originally on my TBR. At first I wanted to read Life of Pi by Yann Martel. If you’ve been following me on Goodreads, you’ll know I DNF it (at least for now). I worte a minireview, and perhaps in the future I’ll give it another try!

I think this is all, and if you have any questions, don’t be afraid to ask! Oh and, what did you read this month? What are your toughts on them?

Hi! I usually write book-related content, such as TBR, reviews, book tours and book tags, but recently I dove deeper into politics, religion, sex and even history. I write posts where I educate people about important subjects, and I hope to see you on my blog soon!
